Contacts Storage manages the storage that stores the call history, contacts, and user profile data of the device. It helps access call history, contacts, and user profile data from a variety of applications including the phone and contacts applications. The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.
