Description

Samsung Core Services is an application for quick and easy provision of the main features used by Samsung applications through application updates rather than through the distribution of software updates. [v2.2] Provides improved search, extraction, and intelligence features based on text and images. Used in various Samsung applications such as Camera, Gallery, Messages, Contacts, Settings, and Finder. > Samsung Search "Samsung Search" is the "on-device" search engine platform. Provides enhanced search functionalities to various Samsung applications such as Gallery, Contacts, Settings, and Finder. > Bounding Box Detection Identifies image and text blocks from a given input image and shares rectangle co-ordinates of the image and text blocks to the caller. > Query Suggestion Provides keyword suggestions for searching in the Gallery to enhance users’ search experience. > Verification Code Suggestion Reads the incoming message, extracts the Verification Code to provide inline suggestions in Keyboard. * Samsung Core Services can be used on Galaxy smartphones with Android 11 (One UI 3, R OS) or higher. * As this is a system application that provides its features in the background without separate UI, an entry menu is not displayed separately on the Apps screen. * We will do our best to ensure that you get the latest features of Samsung applications through fast and stable version updates as well as continuous development of new features in the future. The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.
